I wasn't sure how to title this but i want to discuss the absolute garbage you and i come across in games or in news about games. For example i came across this yellow paint thing in a game that i tried out. The absolutely amazing part was that this was literally in the start, right as you started out. Then there was this absolute World Of Warcraft shitstorm that happened in the 9.1.5 update where they turned the game into a leftists dream of niggertopia and more. You don't have to imagine because i have a entire folder of screenshots and videos i saved back then. Some of these are not from the 9.1.5 update but the majority are. Oh and we can't forget the crapcom leaks.
I'd previously assumed that Electron-esque garbage like Snap and Flatpak were just a fad confined to lazy commercial software, but along with a slow general decline in community packager activity, I've recently noticed more and more dev projects like GIMP and Handbrake abandoning official Linux builds for distro-native package formats. Reading a bit about it, the underlying tools and standards for packaging appear to be in general decay, and I was surprised to see some distros like Ubuntu and Fedora making noises about completely abandoning their package managers at some (usually vague) point in the future! Throughout the span of modern Linux distros, before the need to resort to manually installing every single version of a piece of software, as an alternative to waiting for the distro's repo to update from (sometimes painfully outdated) stable versions, there were pretty much always builds of whatever available from either the developers themselves or some helpful person's PPA. Without that, Linux will become much less convenient to use at best, far more bloated and broken at worst. It has been suggested by some, such as this article: https://ludocode.com/blog/flatpak-is-not-the-future that the main problem which allowed such moronic software to gain momentum (aside from security flimflam exaggerating its sandbox capabilities) was Linux's notoriously unstable ABI, a problem that is gradually fixing itself. But I worry the only real solution to lazy devs would be package managers that cleanly install multiple versions of the same dep, and an explicit way for packages to specify minimum/maximum versions for dep compatibility. I'm also unsure as to how much inertia there is behind this. In the case of Ubuntu, for instance, is this something that's definitely going to be forced down all the other big forks' (e.g.: Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Kubuntu, etc.) throats? Or is this something that will probably remain opt-out beyond Ubuntu Desktop? I'm also unsure of how strong awareness or backlash against it is, as in the case of Mint balking at Ubuntu upstream's silent replacement of their web browser packages: https://archive.ph/hpMug I realize this is a very Linux-specific problem, moreover one of less immediate severity for rolling distros, but is the heart of Linux's ecosystem dying? Or am I blowing this out of proportion?
One of the things thats quite annoying is when you talk to someone about an old game and you start to notice that the person you are talking to is just parroting something. You'll notice phrases,words,sentences being almost exactly the same. Kind of like deja-vu. And something that has happened several times is me coming across a video essay on youtube (which i never watch) and seeing the exact same opinion expressed in that video. So for instance a shitty medicore game called Mad Max i recently played. Another example would be Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. Another shitty game being praised simply because youtubers says its a hidden gem or some masterpiece that everyone somehow forgot or ignored bla bla bla. Its just very interesting because you could simply go back into the past by looking at old reviews to see how everyone thought of the game. The worst part about this is that normalfags cannot think for themselves. Whatever the youtuber says the normalfag repeats. So now these games are considered to be somewhat good with normalfags which doesnt even make any fucking sense. Common thing i see is that alot of people that have these opinions say something like

Oh and i almost forgot to mention No Man's Sky. Remember that shitty game? Well now its considered a redemption arc something something. Basically some faggot youtuber made a video about how the developers are innocent and didnt deserve the hate and how the game is actually good now and now every dumb fucking normalfag parrots that shit.
I think i could maybe include Spec Ops The Line here aswell. I dont think anyone thought of it as more than a mediocre third person shooter when it released but in the past couple of years theres been a massive shift in opinion on how its somehow this DEEP game. The pretentiousness. These people sound exactly like the art people that pretend there is somehow some hidden meaning or something DEEP in some piece of shit. Its annoying because these are clearly not good games and yet people come to believe they are good because other people said so.

What jobs won't be obsoleted if the digital ID CBDC prison panopticon is implemented and you optout? R: 32 / F: 10
I am interested in becoming certified as a marine engineer(and work in the merchant navy) as it's the only way to earn above 1k euros legally in my shithole eastern european country. However I also see that the digital ID, CBDC prison panopticon is on the horizon at the very least, if not absolutely certain it's going to be implemented. Thus I am questioning if it and other jobs are going to become obsolete for those which aren't going to be opting in to get implants under their skin and have their currency tracked forever(whereas now atleast cash exists even if they try to restrict it). In my particular case, atleast where I live in my nation's only port city, I wouldn't even get hired by the local shipyard (which has only stayed out of bankruptcy due to the govt fucking over all the other ones and giving it preferential conditions to where it's incompetence wouldn't matter if it's the only shipyard in the entire country as atleast it would survive in one way or another instead of being put out of business) I wonder where my skills would be transferable to. And if this thread is already about one type of job, why not talk about a whole bunch of them and which would earn you the most money in normal times like these and also be best if you were forced to do them in environments where you don't have access to cash, at best barter? Again, for working in the merchant navy internationally when covid was still a thing you literally couldn't even get hired unless you were vaccinated so the degree was pretty much useless especially in my 3rd world eastern european shithole. And since we're talking about what will happen if the digital ID CBDC prison panopticon is implemented, what would happen if you were prior service in the military(whether former conscript, reservist or active duty) and in their database of draftable people or if you were currently serving as a reservist or active duty service member?

I might have broken my right thumb today, I haven't done any exams/tests on it to know for sure yet, I just know it hurts, it's all greenish for some reason and the space where my thumb articulates is where it hurts most, though I can still articulate it and do tasks fine, it just hurts, anyways I'm skeptical to play video games as maybe it'd make things worse even if it doesn't hurt much. I don’t think there will ever be a nationwide or a continental remigration project, because it necessitates that you inherit the current institutions to facilitate this, but they’re corrupted to the core and to take back control you must destroy them. First thread/post of 2026!!! Board is slow as fuck so no need to split between seasons unlike last year. This also count as the thread for the previous seasons that didn't have their own thread.
Almost nothing aired for 2026 yet, I personally prefer to wait and be surprised than plan ahead. In the last week, I have been watching seasonal anime that I have skipped because these are some slow weeks between seasons during the holidays. It's a different mood than watching week by week but since the new season hasn't aired yet they are still 'fresh'.
My fav from last season(fall2025) would be Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai(s2/cour2 but still count). I really like the sheer stupidity of it and the cast of retard in it.

I almost skipped on Mugen gacha because I was baited by the premise thinking it would be yet another of those shoelace anime but was glad when it went a bit dark with the attempted murder of the MC. Got afraid when the MC said he didn't want vengeance at first because I fucking hate these stupid moralfag MC but was happy when he said he wanted to take his time. It's obviously a comedy anime to not be taken seriously, it was fine at first. Interesting setting with demi-humans(read:subhumans) being racist again humans which could pave the way toward some race war arc. However, the pacing both went too fast and too slow at the same time. Thing went fast yet not much happen. The longer it goes the more I felt it's just like overlord(another anime I like less the more I watched) where it's just an overpowered MC with no challenge but take itself seriously when it come to doing edgy shit and bullying other characters(it redeem itself because those are subhumans). If I could change something, it should lean more into comedy and take itself even less seriously or go serious into human supremacist nation-building to genocide the non-humans but would need some actual challenge.
Worst anime that I have completed from that season has to be the shitty isekai assasin anime. I was running out of shit to watch by the time I picked up. It was meh at the start, I seen the same pattern in isekai a lot by now. At least it was slightly interesting because there were some intrigue and mystery about the world and the king. Then it went away as the MC get strong and bag an elf slut then teleport to her place and fix everything with the power of familial love. I could have lived with yet another generic shitty isekai anime if it gave me midly interesting world building and/or fuckable female characters. However, few anime MC made me as mad as this fucker. Despite being some assassin and being told by every single person to kill some ugly fat bastard who is comically evil and deserving of death, the MC spend multiple episode moralfagging about not wanting to kill. The worse kind of japanese MC ever, it was like sh*nji from eva himself was isekai'd and somehow managed to get faggier. Made me wish I would get isekai'd so I could beat his ass to death with a rusted crowbar. All that shit, only to end with him killing the bastard off-cam and going 'im afraid of myself because I didn't feel a thing :(('. Why the fuck does japs still make protag like this in 1995+30? I grew up as a weeb, but I prefer Chinese culture to Japanese culture overall. Their mythology is richer; their philosophy more well-developed and I prefer their aesthetic richness. Chinese culture, especially in the traditional sense, reminds me of medieval European culture with its ornateness and artistry. The Chinese language is buggish, but I prefer that over the more feminine-sounding Japanese language and I think its alphabet or whatever the fuck it is is cooler looking, too. Japan has had a massive head-start on pop culture, but China has been catching up with their own exports, especially in gaming like Genshin Impact, Naraka: Bladepoint and Honor of Kings. I can't speak to the first, but I'm a personal fan of the latter two. As to animation and comics, China has a bit of representation with manhua, but it is repressed by the CCP and limited by Taiwan's smaller population. When you look at China, they're paradoxically more chinky than the Japanese, but also more Western in some ways; China is much faster to change things when the circumstances dictate and they're not as indirect and bound to senseless formalities like the Japanese. I like Japanese culture, but I think Chinese culture is underrated and more relatable as a Westerner.

Interdasting map. Here's something to ponder in case this glaring setup goes all the way to its logical conclusion. The entire forced geopolitics dance as most of it appears to be decided ahead, it looks so fake, including Trump and Vance roasting Zelensky. Europe is militarily weak. Poland seems to be waking up but it's clearly done as an anti-Russian gesture. The governments of the biggest European nations could be pushed into this useless conflict. I've seen some Jews returning to Ukraine though so it's unclear if UK, Germany and France are supposed to engage their forces. Perhaps if this were to happen it would be brought north of Ukraine, to drag Poland into it. The idea would be to deplete Europe of her last resources. As Russia would begin struggling, drafting would appear on both sides and the Americans, after antagonizing European nations on purpose, would come to support Russia against the obvious stupidity displayed by the Europeans. Do not get surprised if you begin to see all those pseudo nationalists begin shilling for a Euro-Russian alliance, which sounds fairly absurd based on the latest political decisions taken by European leaders. Don't even gasp if the same crypto nazbols were to start selling us the idea of a Russian-something empire, obviously managed by Russia, and going as far as joking about based Russia invading Western Europe to save them from both incompetent leaders (they are not incompetent, merely complete zionist sellouts), and Jew-S-A. Looking at what happened in Ukraine, Russia didn't hesitate to recruit some convicts and also had North Koreans fight in Europe. The Russian-Asian alliance will mean more Asian forces fighting in Eastern Europe. Then they will settle definitively and hasten the racial mixing of the still extremely White Eastern Europe. Europe will be crushed for good. The Eurasian power will grow, Duginists will cream their pants and Neo-Khazaria will play a critical role in that new empire by being located in a very strategic region. This is a long overdue state of the site address. ZZZ has been languishing for a while now and as its admin I can only take responsibility for this and work to address/reverse it. I will not be making excuses, I can only offer this and future changes as a mea culpa. With that said, here is the plan for changes going forward. All feedback and suggestions are welcomed, I just ask that you stay on topic and keep the shitposting light and tasteful. Site Maintenance - I will be updating jschan this Sunday evening and I will be performing monthly updates going forward. I will look into properly automating this but you'll have to excuse my paranoia when I've had debian fucking brick itself updating because I tried to install a more recent version of ffmpeg. Consider this the initial shit test for the rest of the plan. -I'll be paying more attention to /meta/ in general, specifically bug reports. The current bug thread will be edited with a guide on submitting a helpful bug request. -I'll be fixing the text errors across the site as well. - I have a WIP custom docker image for jschan that I have picked back up, this will ease automation of updates and other management tasks once complete. Current progress is around 80%. This would also speed up a full redeployment if needed as it would handle redis etc. - All recent (last ~6 months+) hiccups in site performance have been downstream of the proxy hosting provider (although some were due to massive attacks on major infrastructure). I use this provider because they explicitly state that they do not care about cartoons in their TOS. If anyone is aware of any provider with a similar policy (and preferably accepts monero) please let me know so I can set up a proper failover. If I can brag about one thing, ZZZ has always had a robust backup system. All site data and configs for all parts of the infrastructure have encrypted backups. It has always been the case that if all ZZZ servers were to vanish overnight I could rebuild the site within 24 hours (would mainly be waiting on upload to the new server). Moderation This has been a consistent pain point for us since day one. Recruiting is difficult when each moderator represents 1% of the board or more and this put us in a 'take all comers' position by necessity, for better or worse. -I have not been able to spend as much time as needed moderating the site. All I can say is that I'm going to have more time available going forward. -We need volunteers, and we need to vet them better. I already require all mods to be in contact with me over matrix. This is done because we need some form of coordination and matrix has proven to be more reliable than other privacy focused apps. -We've had a consistent pattern of one anon really stepping up for /b/ on his own and eventually burning out. What are you guys playing in this last month of the year? Any game you want to share or warn about? Do you have a "Christmas game" you frequently played in this jolly days? I don´t personally.
Just finished Metroid for the first time. Never played any game of the series or much Metroidvanias at all. But I must say I really like it.
Not knowing where to go and being underpowered frustrated me at the beginning. But I soldiered on and started to find the game quite fun after finding upgrades and new paths.
Some complain I have about the game is that when you are crossing doors sometimes enemies can hit you without the player being able to do anything. That and that the bosses are underwhelming, with not even Mother Brain being much of a challenge (the tubes not appearing again when you destroy them even if you die helped a lot in that though). Overall, the second half of the game is not as hard as the first.
The experience was an adquired taste for me but I ended up enjoying it. Will play the sequel later but for now I´m thinking about what to play next.

I've been thinking about this topic for a long time, ever since I found /k/ a decade or so back on 4ch. The talk of "going innawoods" was fun, invigorating even, but it never really clicked, so to speak, until I took the red pill and awakened to our bleak reality and found the light of National Socialism. It all came to a head when I read the works of GLR; WLP, JM, and others. It is clear that the decadence of modern society and the dependence is creates in the average person are one of the greatest obstacles to the liberation of our race. Similarly, the surveilance and economic apparatus of the System poses a terrible risk to the security of revolutionary operations, given how many criminals and spies are brought down not by James Bond gadgets but by simple mistakes and clerical anomalies that create a paper trail. There's also an ideological angle behind the creation of this thread besides all the practical considerations, as we claim to reject the System, its values and tenets, it would be remiss of us to remain dependent upon it. Likewise, it'd be harder for anyone in our ranks to fall back into the System's clutches when there's an option for living outside of it, another way to lead one's life. I'm going to make it clear that I'm not advocating just retreating from society and for all of us to become hermits, as that would be ineffectual in the long run. There's only so many hiding places and there's only so long one can hide from the world before it knocks at one's door. The System must be overthrown, but in the meantime we must prepare ourselves to shield our ranks against it, and to offer as few opportunities for it to sink its barbs into us as possible. This is about opsec, healthier living, and building the foundations of a new world. We've long known that the System holds a near-monopoly on water sources, and on top of fleecing the citizenry for the right to it, said water is laden with fluoride and industrial waste when it isn't downright toxic to the human organism (as we can see from the ongoing decades-long debacle at Flint and others). Therefore, scouting and procuring sources of water outside the System's surveilance and control is imperative, as is researching and developing techniques for its purification and safe storage. >Power Technically not critical but still highly important, as we'll need electricity for multiple purposes in our efforts against the system. Heating, manufacturing, communications, and yes, computer systems. We won't get anywhere if the System can shut our power off because we're connected to its grid, failing and crumbling though it is. Therefore, we must constantly research and develop forms of power generation off the grid. >Communication Without communicating with one another we're helpless prey, headless chickens running in circles getting picked off by wolves and coyotes. It's vital to have a means of communication, from one operative to another and one cell to another. Phones and computers for the most part are verboten. The latter may be used for data storage, info gathering and so on, but for the most part we can't depend on these as phones are inherently vulnerable and every ISP and internet browser keeps records of your activities, to say nothing of online platforms. Discord is the obvious one, but supposedly secure ones like Telegram and Session are to be avoided. Radio is the most commonly recommended choice, so it's a good idea to get familiarized. Other potential channels of communication are open for discussion. >Transportation While it is true that any of our operatives can go anywhere on his own two feet (cripples aren't to be considered for active service after all) sometimes transport is needed. There's cargo too heavy or voluminous for conveyance on foot, and so a vehicle is needed. The problem is that every vehicle that isn't a bycicle is registered and logged in some database, so any operative using his own vehicle is running a massive risk if someone can get a good look at his plates. Another issue is maintainance and fuel consumption, both quite expensive and difficult to procure (the former especially). Any resistance cell will have to contend with this issue and find a way to acquire a vehicle that cannot be tied to them, as well as handling maintainance and fuel procurement that won't create a paper trail for the System's goons to follow to their doorstep. >Money The sad reality is that as much as we reject the System, we still need to interact with it in the process of dismantling it, as money has its uses in revolutionary activities. However, we can always minimize exposure and thus dependence and temptation, to say nothing of operational risks. Obviously cash is our best friend, as it's almost impossible to track down most of the time. Anything to do with cards or e-wallets and the like is to be disregarded. Crypto is a jewish scam. Pawn shops and junkyards are two of the most expedient avenues to make cash. Anything that isn't useful or that occupies space best saved for something else can be sold off, within reason. Anything acquired in field operations can be sold for cash as long as it can't be easily tracked (meaning no consumer electronics for the most part), but that's a discussion for another thread. There are many ways to gain cash, suggestions are welcome. Feel free to add more to the list. I'm sure I might be forgetting something.

Just like the suicide thread in the previous board. Share any struggles you might have regarding suicide, any past failed attempts and/or why do you think suicide may be the answer to all this you're going through. I've been procrastinating/delaying my suicide plan for over 5 years now, partly because I'm scared of what comes after death as I cannot know for sure what will happen once I'm on the other side and this kind of scaring me and holding me back from killing myself. Maybe it's the survival instinct in the end? I attempted suicide for like 8 times in 3 years now and every-time I was saved by either a stranger or a family member and this didn't change my mindset or made me think less of it. The desire to eradicate this body, this existence is getting stronger day after day especially these days, but I'm still hesitating to actually go with it, as I still have somewhat of a brief feeling of hope that my ways might change in the future but then I rethink it and figure out that I'm in my early 20's now and still haven't done anything significant with my life, still trying to find a purpose, a motivation or maybe a dream to live for, meanwhile everyone my age around me is graduating college and passing through different phases with their lives, all while I'm still stuck in the no-purpose teenage-like kind of existentialism. It really gets very boring everyday and Idk what to do anymore.
