I'd be careful about trying to run Lineage, you'd need to check the firmware for if the active cooling fan + buttons + dual screen compatibility works, since the stock OS is already custom. Raw Linux would the better bet, and you can already run SteamOS+1 layer via it, with the addendum that it's slightly weaker hardware (though it still runs all the games that the deck usually runs; most taxing I've managed to get playable (without booting to Linux) was MGRR via Winlator, but Furi via GameNative was too much for it).
TV, I don't see why not. Remote desktop, I'm not too sure, wouldn't bank on. Future models are going to get closer and closer to deck performance however (the current flagship chinkhelds are only slightly behind based off of performance trying to emulate TotK, so at best / before RAMpocalpyse delays, Retroid is 2 years off), but also, people are anticipating some kind of Steam client for ARM when the Frame releases so there might be some slight performance gains for PCemu there.
