After skimming the previous thread, seems like an appropriate time to politely inform 4um newfaggots about 4cuckX, which for some godforsaken reason has a closed source cookie that silently calls home to a server in Alaska, and is there (at minimum) to facilitate IP recognition feature (which is off by default IIRC, and is only there to let 4cuckX assign users to threads based on IP; because the script is made by ledditors and shjitcorders, for ledditors and shjitcorders). If you ever mention or ask about this cookie, you'll almost always get brigaded, first that it doesn't exist to begin with, then if you prove it otherwise, that "it's just nothing bro stop like being an ironic schizo". And that's just off of the top of my head, from someone who hasn't used that shithole in a better half of a decade and hasn't been keeping up with how bad it's gotten in the meantime.
On the other hand, with the amount of fingerprinting 4cuck has been datamined to do, 4fags don't seem to give a shit about spyware at this point; but if you actually give a damn about Anonymity and just didn't know you were getting fucked in the ass, get that 4cuckX shit off your computer ASAP. Quick reminder that FLOSS only means you can inspect code and inform others of flaws in it. It is not by-nature safe by virtue of itself, and it declaring itself as open source does not mean it is (in this case, it isn't). You have now been informed you are using shady shit, which is most likely spyware, and is most definitely bloatware that centralised and destroyed the 4cuck userscripting scene.
