>are there games on the Saturn beyond arcade ports and Saturn Bomberman
Yes many, it's an underrated platform (or more accurately, forgotten about), and the roms are very small in filesize so it's easy to stick a ton on anything you're running emulation on.
Mr. Bones, Loaded, Deep Fear, Amok, Cyber Speedway, Dark Savior, Earthworm Jim 2, Gungriffon, Shinobi Legions, Shining Wisdom & Parodius are all good games just off of the top of my head.
<I was considering getting a Saturn alongside a Saroo, because I like getting consoles with flashcarts
If you're planning on doing this however, you might as well open your checkbook, because they've all long been bought out by retro collectors and are rarer than hen's teeth, and fetch huge prices not worth anyone's time (especially the niche "cult classic" titles that were good, but didn't sell well), and was part of the era where there were significant region differences in not only clock speed, but content, making the "best versions" even more stupidly overpriced. Sonic CD is commonly cited as having a completely different soundtrack depending on locale from that era, but of the ones I mentioned, I know Shinobi Legions and Cyber Speedway also had completely different OSTs; even before version content differences.
