Please, do tell us how shitting 5000 more cosmetics, some worthless golf system, the slime pets, the pets, and wind of all things make a game more "worthwhile of playing".
The only good changes have been: the pylons, which is made a bit worse by the fact that it also introduced the happiness bullshit.
The whips, which made a half baked class a slight bit more interesting to play. (But hybrid is just as viable and more fun in most cases.)
And the EOL, which is an actual boss instead of whatever slight bump the other "bosses" are.
A sequel allows you to optimise the base you already have, explore new ideas you couldn't implement, and add more since you're not anchored to a setting that's already set in stone.
And if a game doesn't need a sequel, then it sure as shit doesn't need 20 superfluous updates that does fucking nothing stapled on top of it.
