This one is difficult because, on your own with nothing to mitigate the effects of temptation, lust will repeatedly strike you down again and again. It takes immense(not impossible, many have managed it before) strength to resist the constant lure of these sorts of things.
The main things you need to know are as follows:
1. When you view these things there is no gain, only the illusion of gain, shatter that illusion and you'll realize you can only get better from not viewing these things.
2. If you don't have a set, present-focused goal in life (something to do soon, not in the distance) then you will likely end up back right (left) next to where you started.
The application of all of these things will take some time. Do not fret, you are building help along the way, and remember you can always turn to Jesus to ask for more help if you need it.
