I am interested in becoming certified as a marine engineer(and work in the merchant navy) as it's the only way to earn above 1k euros legally in my shithole eastern european country.

However I also see that the digital ID, CBDC prison panopticon is on the horizon at the very least, if not absolutely certain it's going to be implemented.

Thus I am questioning if it and other jobs are going to become obsolete for those which aren't going to be opting in to get implants under their skin and have their currency tracked forever(whereas now atleast cash exists even if they try to restrict it).

In my particular case, atleast where I live in my nation's only port city, I wouldn't even get hired by the local shipyard (which has only stayed out of bankruptcy due to the govt fucking over all the other ones and giving it preferential conditions to where it's incompetence wouldn't matter if it's the only shipyard in the entire country as atleast it would survive in one way or another instead of being put out of business) I wonder where my skills would be transferable to.

And if this thread is already about one type of job, why not talk about a whole bunch of them and which would earn you the most money in normal times like these and also be best if you were forced to do them in environments where you don't have access to cash, at best barter?

Again, for working in the merchant navy internationally when covid was still a thing you literally couldn't even get hired unless you were vaccinated so the degree was pretty much useless especially in my 3rd world eastern european shithole.

And since we're talking about what will happen if the digital ID CBDC prison panopticon is implemented, what would happen if you were prior service in the military(whether former conscript, reservist or active duty) and in their database of draftable people or if you were currently serving as a reservist or active duty service member?

I already looked up Agenda 2030 and now you want me to have more neural programming upon reading up on ID CBDC? Ugh, can't I have fun instead? Fine, I'll do it anwyay.
>it's to stop counterfeit money
You weren't making fake bills anyway. If you are, should this thread not be about how to make fake shekels?

No, it's just to stop counterfeits and tax evasion and nobody was doing tasx evasion nor counterfeits anyways. it's whatever. They forced me to use a bank card. We already have a centralized banking system so why care? Agenda 2030 is more spooky scary.

I have the option to be short-changed. I also have the option to be told I'm off on my till every day when it's not even my fault but due to low pay they will pretend it is my fault.
<your cashier job will be le replaced
No, we're cheaper than security guards and they make us get carts, clean, put things back on the shelves, etc. I may become a truck driver, long haul.
<but automation again
If an accident happens they don't want to sue the company they want to sue a person. This is why they won't replace everyone with robots. Accident happens, someone dies, giant amount of money demanded from the robot makers and shit. Worse, as compuetrs can't make mistakes they'll consider it murder potentially. When a doctor accidentally kills you it's fine, no cameras allowed, but when an engineer of some kind or archetect or carpenter gets you killed it's a huge deal wherein they want you in prison for killing people. My point being that things won't end well if they try to force changes quickly. Agenda 2030 is all 'lets end povery'. U wat? As if they are going to do that. What they mean is: Let's make working low hours illegal. Gullag tier. Taking care of the planet? "Le'ts make using the shower illegal".

If your government really goes for the whole all-digital transactions, total panopticon thing, it probably won't let you opt out if it can find a way to stop you.
You could always become a vagrant, hermit, or wandering bandit I guess :^)
Serious options: either you have to basically grow your own food and only barter for goods/use old cash after it's been phased out, or you have to leave the country. If you're Eurozone, then you'd have to go pretty far to get away from a digital currency. Don't know where is best to go, would depend a lot on your work and language skills and your legal situation

It's stupid to hang on to demonetized fiat currency, when you could have exchanged it for gold or silver (if only you thought about doing this before SHTF). In the US you even have the advantage that many pre-1965 coins are silver, so you don't even have to use unfamiliar coins. All the old european currencies with silver are totally different from the Euro.

He said:
> use old cash after it's been phased out
What that means is the cash is no longer legal tender, so almost nobody will accept it at that point. Cash in itself has no intrinsinc value, unlike silver. The only exception are coins made of mostly copper or nickel. But most people don't have many of those, they use bank notes and whatever little random "change" is in circulation. Yeah, just look at what you have personally, and check the metal composition in a coin catalog (or maybe a site like numista.com). I doubt it will add up to much, unless you've made it your mission to save all Cu-Ni change you ever get for years (and not like many people dump all your change into coinstar machine).

Silver and other precious metals have no intrinsic value either unlike water or food.

Nah, with technology being what it is they have intrinsic value, and technology allows better access to food and water so we are stuck with our shinny rocks until the replicator is a thing

Nigga, you retarded.
Silver compounds are the most potent antibiotics on the planet.
Silver is the best shielding material on the planet.
Silver is used for the highest quality suturing material on the planet.
Gold makes the most useful nano-materials on the planet.
Gold makes the best vision protection on the planet.
Gold is the best heat shielding material.
Gold compounds make the best contact conductor surface in an oxygen rich environment.

And diamonds make the best drills and yet most of the time nobody will sue them as they are more expensive than they are worth.
>antibiotics
Leads to superbugs.

In a shtf scenario asking for steak when served chicken would lead one to getting the shit smacked out of them. Those precious metals were only important as a currency and currency is only improtant due to overlords taxing the civilians/peasants. Once that theft stops a pair of shoes is worth more than a bag of coins as people naturally barter. Rice mattters, shoes and clothing matters, weapons matter and therein leads to knights/cops/etc stealing from you upon weapons becomeing the msot important and 'expensive' out of the other important stuff. The spear leads to the coin ergo the spear is more important than the coin. The clothes and food more important than the spear.
>>311962
Have you ever measured how much any of these precious metals are in your actual 'owned' technological devices?
>>311959
>implying water is valuable
That's like saying air is valuable. Unless you're some retarded nigger in Africa or a Spic in MezoAmerica or some pork fearing Abrahamic in the desert you didn't see water as something to be thankful for. If you were dumb enough to live in a bad area your culture is going to be shit anyway, and your genes. We're supposed to live next to rivers and that's infinite water coming down from the mountains.

I see that nobody has responded to this.
My country has abolished the voluntary reservist system instead opting for a voluntary conscription system.
