You may review any piece of media you have recently consumed in this thread. I just binged Trigun Stampede a couple days ago. Although I can appreciate that the antagonists of the show finally have a valid motivation for why they are doing what they are doing, I think that the overall visual presentation (especially the characters) was a big downgrade. I also think that Vash was overly passive even for him in it (other than a couple scenes). I also found it disappointing that it was a prequel and not a sequel to the original series. Honestly 6/10

Reviewing this self-referential post, I find it somewhat combo-breaking, even if only in form and not the essence.
I watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners, first time watching anything in a while Didn't hate it, but not as good as everyone says it is. The world is more interesting than any of the characters, story or animation.
>>311582 (OP) FLCL It's funny, I liked it. I still have no idea what a Fooly Cooly is though. I watched with EN dub. At the start both JP and EN VA are deadpan, but I found EN less annoying.
Just finished Gachiakuta. It is an anime about a society dumping all it's trash and even it's high level criminals into a ginormous pit to execute them. Rudo the protagonist gets framed for a crime he didn't commit and is dumped into the pit. Instead of dying, he miraculously survives and quickly finds out that there are full societies where he got dumped in what everyone who resides there calls "the ground" in between that being "the border" and where Rudo came from "the sphere". Anyone who's passed the border has never made it back alive. The trash that gets dumped usually ends up in no mans land and the air is very toxic there so you have to where a gas mask to traverse it. Also, the trash that gets dumped often gets transformed into "trash beasts" by souls that once cared for the objects that ended up in the pit. So it definitely was an interesting premise at least but it's slop imo. Both Semiu and Corvus are blatant niggers and there is nigger graffiti being done everywhere in addition to gross out humor. If it wasn't for those gripes the presentation would be like an 8/10 but drops to a 7/10 to me if not a little lower. Some of the fights were good but most of them were meh. 5/10 overall
>>311628 >Didn't hate it, but not as good as everyone says it is Really? I never hear anyone talk about it >The world is more interesting than any of the characters, story or animation. And that's probably why no one talks about it that much. >>311629 Isn't that the same anime that the faggot Dysnomia liked?
Watched "The Legend of Hei" movies, which were great. Now reading the prequel manga "Lanxi Zhen," which is also great.
I watched the first August Underground movie. It's a 'found footage' movie from a guy who recorded him and his sadistic friend getting up to silly shenanigans and killing people. Seemed to go to great lengths to keep the blood realistic. Kind of reminds me how everyday you're that close to being subjected to that sort of violence by someone just feeling like it.
