after el paso he threw the whole site under the bus to try and restore whatever reputation he had left, which was none. then he spent the rest of his life being a diaperfur paying endless penance to everyone. selling the site to jim was the beginning of the end and most anons probably should've bailed right there but there was really no clean way out after moot axed goobergab discussion on /v/, everyone's balkanized and hates each other now and a lot of that blame lies with the bone goblin's piss-poor management of the site.

First he became a Christian after el paso and Tarrantdup. Then, he became a communist because /trannypol/ were the only ones left who did not hate him, because everyone always hated /trannypol/, then that fell out too because Dudder could not commit to leftism. Then he settled on Furryshit. Then he abandoned that too and became a good ol fag. It is questionable if he was even gay or if it was just another stopgap in...his journey to nowhere. It was not 8chan that did this to him, he was already like this at Wizardchan.

What a total joke. And I'm the retard for ever believing it.
>>311152
I had too shitty early life to ever believe in anything just because it sounds nice. 8ch for me was an entertainment, not an identity.
>>311152
At least you're not that anon who drew hotwheels portrait in blood, imagine how silly he/she must have felt after the betrayal.
it was a fun lil experiment but giving everyone their own board never worked cuz everybody was just gonna congregate around legacy board names so whoever got them first could play internet dictator as much as they want and everyone would just go with it. that's how we got tards like mark.
my idea i had recently was to let OPs moderate their own threads as they choose, deleting and banning people from them if they're being retards. of course that would just lead to a dozen or so threads all on the same subject but led by different power-tripping faggots with different rules/standards

>some of the ideas the users of had about what it was were cringe
some ppl really drank the koolaid about cripplewheels being some kinda imageboard jesus and cuz the idea of some dysgenic retard leading a revolution is still a funny idea. but now that it's been dead longer than it was ever alive all that's left is a bunch of angry autists in their little balkanized boards endlessly fretting over boogeymen from "the evil site" trying to subvert and destroy "my good site". most smart people just went elsewhere or got a wife and kids or something more productive
>>311156
>it was a fun lil experiment but giving everyone their own board never worked
It worked because if people got tired of a BOs shit, they would make their own board and fuck off. This is what happened with /b2/, and it was glorious.
>that's how we got tards like mark.
/v/fags would continue sucking Mark Manns jewcock for god knows how long, and the 8moefags are still doing it. Might be something with the LOL threads, idunno.
Replies: >>311159
>>311158
b2 was the only board that got traction though, there were plenty of other people trying to make alternate boards but they were all dead. besides that i don't remember a single board that was an alt to a legacy name that was widely used.

if there were restrictions on it that were enforced by board mods like "you can only delete posts that are clearly trying to start shit, not because you disagree with their opinion" it might work. but nobody uses imageboards anymore so it's kind of pointless. my other idea was to have some sort of system in place where anons could impeach a board owner and have them removed by globals if they were being fags but i couldn't think of any way to have a vote system in place that wasn't susceptible to rigging from people who hop VPNs and tor nodes.

You should have seen the early days. I remember there being over a hundred flourishing, active boards, thousands of users on most active ones, quality oc wherever you look, only organic posts. There were so many users that you could have an active board dedicated to all sorts of niche subjects, it was the most capable internet community that ever existed or will ever exist. It was intoxicating. Some boards had a very unique vibe, i remember enjoying /late/ a board for insomniacs. It was impossible for a single person to follow everything that was happening, there was too much to see and do, so no two anons remember it the same. Then the failed migration happened or something, my memory is fuzzy on the details. At some point boards got wiped and had to be remade from scratch, culture took a hit, but it was still incomparable better than what we have now on any imageboard. So much content got lost over time, in my hubris i took too many things for granted, i was just a parasite among so many great anons. Death of 8chan was death of internet freedom, death of internet freedom was death of culture. Were all zombies now.

Got it in one. Early 8chan was one of a kind, and hell, even after /a/ caused Infinity Next because they were too hecking stressed out to delete posts manually, and Jewsh fucked THAT up, there was still some enjoyment to be had. At least, it''s better than what we have nowadays: the entire goddamn internet talking like cuckchanners, acting like redditors(I know that I said the same thing twice), all while pointing at everyone else and saying "no, THOSE guys are the redditors, we're totally different even though we also have the same beliefs, we also use the same language, we also spam the same redditfaces, and we also shut down in response to differing beliefs!"
Fuck that SEAmonkey cocksucker Jim for the falseflag that took down Fatchan. That was our best hope, and the guy behind it had no idea how right he was when he said that he saw this as the end of an era for imageboards.
The worst part is that I don't know if we can even return to those days, now that so many people have gone from normal functioning human beings to cuckchanners in denial. It's a terrible thought, the idea that we've reached the point where it's for the best that we never reunite. On the other hand, too much time has past, and too much exposure to undesirable communities will taint you.
But for better or worse, the memories will always remain.

You got it backwards, dingus, but they're essentially the same thing so I won't fault you.
Acting like the undesirables I speak of is simple: a complete inability to have a discussion. You may only say what everyone else agrees with, you may only believe what everyone else believes, and if anything goes against what they collectively believe, they immediately shut down and start posting wojaks because they literally cannot argue back. It's like how plebbit uses upboats as a "THIS IS WHO TO BELIEVE, LOOK HE HAS THE BIGGER NUMBER" system, except instead of a number it's just all of the 4um coming together to shit up a thread the moment any badthink is spotted while saying you're the one derailing it, as the faggot mods fall for it hook, line, and sinker.
In short; to act like a cuckchanner/redditor is to be allergic to open dialogue. See >>311251
