Current Progress Report -- RTDev Learns AI edition
Long time no see UTbros. See the title? I have learned how to use "AI" to make art, as such I have generated a shitton of graphics to take the place of what will eventually be the final graphics for UTRT. Honestly? This has been a huge confidence boost for me, but still, at the same time I have to admit I'm still worried I won't be good-enough for you guys.
The main plan I have for final graphics is to model story-significant characters in Blender, render them in an illustrated style and use that in the game.
'Graphical Changes (HUGE) (NOT CLICKBAIT)'
--Added new graphics for A LOT of shit.
----All new (still placeholder) graphics for the main cast (see above for plans on final graphics.)
----Some cutscenes now have actual pictures instead of placesholders, or text boxes).
----New graphics for several generic enemies that I felt like changing, as well as some of the arena encounters.
----Generic hobgoblin enemy is now a Mad Hog, it's stats and moveset have been radically-altered as a result.
----Monster Bosses now have unique enemy art. It's still generated, but much of it was hand-arranged because the model didn't want to cooperate without Krita's handiness.
----Dischord and his minions now have real graphics.
----Elemental faeries (Bravura & Family) now have new battle sprites and their own portraits.
----Cock-enemies and faeries now have distinct and unique battle sprites.
----I could stretch this section out, but really, this has been a long time coming and I'm both excited and nervous about it.
'bug and oversight fixes'
--Gameplay, item and skill fixes
----Fixed various items not curing Cripple
----Loco Attaca nerfed. It now does light-based damage, strikes 3 random targets, and it's hidden special effect that insta-kills a specific enemy was removed.
----Mirror-Shattering Icicles is now Mirror-Shattering Flurry, It's Ice element and ice-related effects were removed, it now is elementless and has gained the specific-enemy-instakill that Loco Attaca had.
--Minuet Forest
----Fixed a broken screen transition that resulted in the player being stuck
----Bosses' HP increased.
--Minister's House
----Fixed a locked door not having a lock
----Fixed the collision issues of the bathroom
--Glissando Arena
----Removed two of the arena slots I was dissatisfied with, this should hopefully help the pacing of the arena itself.
----Slightly nerfed the Harmonian Recruits' attack power. It's still spicy, but hopefully you won't get utterly-destroyed by them this time. ...Maybe.
----Buffed Scherza's HP and added immunities to things she should've been immune to.
--Dal Segno
----Adjusted the Item shops, so that higher-tier armor, weapons, and items become available at the very start of Chapter 2.
'Other changes'
--Music
----New music for monster-boss fights: Soulstream from Mabinogi.
--Icons
----With ironbody now having a dedicated status icon, it's old icon has been moved to affliction shield, hopefully this should avoid confusion with reflect.
----Affliction Shield's casting icon has been changed to match it's new status icon.
--Story
----Removed some dialogue that was kinda preachy or just didn't fit with the current state of the story. If you don't know what it was, you probably won't miss it.
'Misc'
--Added anonymous agony to the library's fiction section if you want to see some cheesy-but-fun-dialogue
--Removed the cameo characters from FP's unfinished VN, Refinery. I don't know them, I don't know how I would utilize them in Retuned, and I have no desire to use them, so they're gone.

--Typos and spelling errors
--Text running over the bounding boxes
--The Original Game's graphics are still in various spots
--Glissando Arena's missing item-restriction mechanics are still missing.
If the weather breaks at the end of act 1 again... I have no fucking clue, the weather works fine on my end.
During the generating of charcter portraits, I accidently generated some amazing shitposts that were too good to throw away. I'm going to wait until specific characters are revealed to post them if I'm there when retuned's stream commences.
