I created the Galatea Multipurpose Companion Maid Robot. It is designed to be an IRL robo-maid girl. Local AI means you can talk with her, and she has actual practical uses. She's also very customizable, you can choose the color, dress, head, hair, and even AI.
I intentionally designed her to be easy to build with the instructions.
I intend this to be the Model T of humanoid robots and robotic companions, while it is not the most complex, it is easy to mass produce and cheap.

Current version as of this post is version 3.0.8

That image is too much like that one batman movie with Jim Carrey. How much does it cost though and do I have to build/program it?

There's also local AI on either your PC or smartphone, which speaks out of the speaker on her wrist (or music if you wish).
Plus, unlike a mannequin, she can do small physical tasks like hold light objects (like a fan or UV wand)
The mini phone actually doesn't control much for now. If you don't want the mini phone design, there are others to choose from

Why don't I ever see sandwich vending machines where I live? What if I want a sandwich at 3am when all the stores are closed? Ugh. Same reason there's no streetwalkers. Women are afraid of them just as they are afraid of going out at night.

Anyway, I'd rather the silly-bot have a 12v fridge in it's chest than a vacuum at it's feet. Why not both though? 12v fridges are small enough to go into it's center and it could have sandwiches. Just buy them preemtively at the store and load that thing like a gun, add a ptoato cannon or something. If it's wrapped in plastic wrap...it could load the thing if it had an automatic sandwich cocking mechanism.

Food always tastes better when someone else makes it. I just bought a 3 dollar sandwich that would have probably costed only 50 cents if I had made it myself, though that'd have required me to buy more I guess forcing me to eat sandwiches over and over again. At that point you became the gf. Too much investment!

Lol. This was a funny post, Anon. :D

Actually the idea of a torso fridge is a good one. The mango/animu My Wife Has No Emotions has the robowaifu with a combo unit she can also cook with as well. Good thinking Anon, thanks.

With how big the batteries need to be to power a car fridge you would ideally use 'Megaman legs' and put the batteries in the legs for balance. I'd buy a robot like that if it had a remote control arm. Such arms are like 200 usd at least though alone and at that point the robot is going to cost at least 700+ usd realistically and I'd not pay more than 500 for one.
>200 emergency battery bank
>200 remote control arm
>45 12v fridge
>120 remote control power wheel
>400 dollar adult doll (and cloth)
>real time spy camera
>android phone
>lots of glue and a saw, etc
Don't you want to control your gf anyway? I figure the smart vac is meant to make it wander around but that's not as... killer as mine would be. It'd take over a grand though so I'm never going to do this just so I can watch the ugly thing fail to open the fridge as I hold two controllers and a phone to see with, the arm's and the power wheel's. Glue indeed!

I'm obvioiusly not a tech user. I have a raspberry pi covered in dust that would not even play a part. I already have a doll too, battery bank, fridge, really I only need the power wheel now that I think about it...but my doll was... "cheap". Oh yeah, the eye. I would need a real time cam and I don't have one, so I'm only missing two items technically: remote control wheels and wireless camera. As I make this shitpost I am realizing that if I had bought a taller doll I'd go for it but are now constantly broke.

I wonder what the range is on these cheap remote control power wheels plus the spy cams? If I get only get it to hold a knife and move faster than 3mph...perhaps if I overvolt it...solder bigger antennas...hmmmm. To go deer hunting of course.

Seriously though you can't just use glue and a saw. I learned my lesson trying to make an umpc out of a cigar box with that raspberry pi I mentioned before. RIP cigar box.

I am aware that a torso refrigerator is more stylish, but a backpack can serve the same purpose of storing goods. preserving internal space for internal parts.

>he doesn't want a food droid in his home
It'd be a remote control beer machine! It's not like we have gfs to get the stuff for us and even if you did you'd just owe her. A robot might be more comfy by far. It will actually support you rather than try to make business deals. Why would someone have a backpack full of ice packs in their home? Do you think people would bring their loli shop vacs outiside? I guess you were imagining camping with the robot gf but OP's theme of a vacuum gf sorta negates camping as a scenario. If you went to the mall they have people they pay to vacuum, clearly the robot gfs are stricly a stay at home thing and a backpack on a couch is just offputting and boud to mold if you don't pay attention of which I personally do not pay attention. I have a 12v fridge next to my futon and contruction of a reverbot fridge would allow me to go from that shitty couch to other couches without rearranging my entire appartment. Come to think of it she should have a tablet for a face so you don't have to bring a computer with you, you could use the thing's face as it follows, or is directed, to be around you. I eat and drink and watch tv shows a lot as well as use the Internet, the tablet face could do that if it is designed to be face level while sitting. People already have tvs on their fridge doors to avoid missing football games (normalfags can't even copyright infringe I guess, it's sad) so really it's just a remote control fridge that has a robot arm, mine would be, and also it would have eyes. If it had the range it could go shopping for you. I wonder how that would go, a robot trying to buy something? Without dexterity you could ask a stock crew member for help to put it into a basket attached to the bot and the cashier could help too, to scan a card if it could not tap it, but with a tap feature on a card I think the robot arm could pull it off. You could have it locked until it reached the appropriate moment, the card. How cool would your bookbag need to be to go shopping or hold hands with you? I get that some bags are cute and feel like skin but at that point it's a purse. I suppose a bookbag gf would have the advantage of getting things for free though.

Batteries are dumb for home/room bot, just have a wire hanging from ceiling.
if the robo-gf is just a portable fridge with an arm then it's not a gf just a drone, also the amount of work to make it acceptable can be spent on home optimizations at most leading to the appliance-level, even a goldberg machine is superior.
At the level of engineering I see here far superior is VR/virtual immersion waifu for mental connection with haptic feedback in your battlestation. you could then add Jarvis type connection to your machine additions that wouldn't break immersion.
Firstly you need the brain and waifu to actually work and have memory+personality then you can port her into the levers of agentic abilities she can run through, but if you don't have the first step all is waste and going schizo hallucination mode with drugs is superior, hell just doing the drugs is superior.
I also highly doubt you can't make a solid walking and fucking robot if you dedicated 3-5 years prep and 5-7 years development, if you can't you are a brainlet.

You're insane if you waste 8-12 years waiting for anything ever. It's one of the reasons society is cracked, like doctors for example or people taking 20+ years to retire or k-12, etc, it's far too long and everyone is unhinged without regard to their IQ. You can be as smart as you want and not be in control of your life due to being trained to wait your entire life.

Stop using schizo wrong also.

Yeah, I'll accept the brainlet title; I deserve it. Robotics is much more difficult than I expected.

I'm praying that at least one of you will make it real. Good luck.

@Mechnomancer on /robowaifu/ is making realworld progress rn, and several other Anons both on & off that board have done so as well. However, just because it's hard on an individual level isn't any excuse not to push your own self towards your dream, Anon. And through /robowaifu/ 's team approach, you can share information and updates with each other so we all rise together on the same flood.

>tl;dr

That's actually a really good idea. It's similar to my Galatea, but more food-based. If you put the batteries near the "feet", the battery weight can be an advantage with a counterweight. I think you should pursue it!
>>18169
It's not waiting, it's work, a lot of hard work.
Also going schizoid can be a great time and you can hallucinate waifus at a cost to your sanity. Been there done that. miss it a bit to be honest, used to just listen and play with the music in my head, messes with getting things done and interacting in society though.
