I guess that can indeed be a point of confusion for many people. It's not an exclusively loli thing, many people (including me) are attracted to 2D females (not necessarily lolis) while having little interest in real women in general, due to how much 2D females are idealized and "unrealistic" (both in terms of appearance and behavior) compared to their real counterparts (which also applies to 2D lolis vs. real children). The "3DPD" meme/term exists for a reason.
