My Lord, my Saviour, my Redeemer,
Manifest Your mercy upon me,
Show me Your joyful pathways,
Lead me according to the pleasure of Your Spirit,
Purify my soul, clarify my intentions,
Shelter me with respite from anxieties,
Lord Christ, Almighty King,
I am not worthy of Your consideration,
Yet You heed me, and abide by me,
What am I to You, miserable in my offenses,
What do you see in me that was worth dying for?
You are wonderful and perfect, I terrible and misshapen,
Yet You opted to impute the glory of Your salvation upon me,
A superluminous light in a devouring darkness,
May it find saturation in my heart,
Overflow in my words and deeds,
To the end that such radiance should convince the world in its misdeeds,
Recollect the lost from the vale of death,
And the credit not count one bit to me,
But the glory be Yours, entirely and solely,
To whom the praise of the whole world
And every atom of creation
Deserves to be directed.
