Bitch, I have slept on a simple foam mattress on the floor for the past 6 years, following a bedbug infestation.
The bedbugs are gone now; I've checked, checked, and checked again. Bedbugs are lazy animals; if you're ripping open baseboards and other parts of your room to look for them, you're doing it wrong.
