Godfather 1 and 2 were the goat. Sopranos revitalized the genre. But what other mob flicks/ shows did you enjoy?

I despise the Godfather movies and mob movies in general.
Sopranos was the worst.
This is probably the only decent mob movie.

Which is what you are if you vicariously live your power fantasies through mob movies and TV shows.
Casino is good.

It is. Shows that earners could be prioritized over made men. Did you like The Irishman?
goodfellers good

It actually is. I dig flicks that take multiple watches to get the context

So you've watched it more than once?

>Gomorra, but the TV series
I haven't seen the TV series, but the film is well done. One of my top Italian films, I'd say.

>Goodfellas
I have watched it, but it's been a while and on a more recent rewatch, it wasn't vibing with me. Mean Streets is another classic Scorsese crime film, though, again, I don't remember it.

Miller's Crossing is a classic Irish mobster movie from 1990. Plus it has Steve Buscemi, what's not to love?

I know I've watched a few others, but they escape me now.

As much as I liked this one, the actual story is such a departure from the hollywood version, namely pacino's character, lefty is such a far cry from its real life counterpart. The phrase "no honor among thieves" are such an understatement in these media

While the main character certainly isnt mafioso, the series basically belongs in the genre. A good aspect this series in particular highlights is that almost every character is a flipfloping, cheating, backstabbing trash, just like their real life counterparts.
