You make a good point. Keeping a minutious record of our fallen is a priority concern. After all, we pride ourselves on honoring our ancestors (which also includes becoming ancestors to those who come after us) and we undertake this mission knowing we'll have to sacrifice everything for it, ergo that sacrifice should be honored too.
