Why do I need to have a specific thread for any random thing I see that is fashion? Well, I don't, but now I do.

Do you really go outside in public like that? Not trying to sound like a smartass or judgemental, just genuinely curious because I'm 100% confident if I wore anything like that over here I'd get all sort of weird looks and maybe audible mockery from the more brazen ones. Where I live everyone is dressed so same it's almost like there's some kind of standard mandated by law.

I did and I was surprised to actually get compliments from females and males. I was surprised to get a single compliment, but I think I got three, if not more. I live in an artfag town so you can get away with all sorts of retarded dress.
If some dude talks shit about what you wear you can always make a remark about how only women and homosexuals give a fuck what a guy wears.

Translated text for first two media related:
>The exhibition at the State Historical Museum features a fan painted on the portrait of Princess T.A. Yusupova. A cute trinket worth 1000₽ in silver. The ivory faceplates are decorated with rubies, emeralds and diamonds. The lace for the screen is Alencon, the most labor-intensive and fabulously expensive, embroidered with flowers, among which are woven the coats of arms of the Yusupovs and Ribeaupierres.

3rd media, the Casio is a favorite among silly pranksters.

Bring back 2000s ethos like that and bleached blonde hair.
>Read art of manliness article about how to get a haircut
>"Bring a picture of what you want. If you don't know what you want, say you don't know what you want"
>Go to the barber and say I don't know what I want
<Well do you want it short, or just a trim
>Whatever looks good
<Ok but short or long

This has happened multiple times at multiple shops. I know at this point I should just bring a photo but I don't know what shape my face is or what looks good. One time I asked a barber and she said:

<Uh kind of roundish squarish
>So oval?
<no

Get it cut long so if you don't like it you can shorten it.
>don't know what shape my face is
Look in a fuckin mirror dude.
If you're going to a barber try to get a man to cut your hair. If you want a woman to cut it go to a salon. And barbers and such have a harder time with customers that have no idea what they want, because they are used to people getting really pissed when a haircut isn't to their liking but refused to give any instruction otherwise. Try figuring out what you definitely don't want, that'll at least give them more than zero guidance. If you aren't balding don't worry too much about it, if the first barber fucks it up just wait a month or two and try a different barber. Rinse and repeat until you find someone that cuts it how you like it, or at minimum cuts it in a way that you don't dislike it.

Fades appear to be in. They look good, and I've been pleased with having them over the years. You also should consider how often you want or are willing to get a haircut. If you don't want to get one very often you should go for a cut that'll look fine after growing out for a bit. If you're fine getting a cut more frequently then a tighter cut could be suitable, but not necessary. Here's some examples of what is apparently trending currently with a link of where I found the images. You could also consider how you like or need to dress. Show up wearing what you want the cut to go with, that should give the barber a better idea of the style that would best suit you.
>Hey I don't really know what I want, but I usually dress like this and please don't give me a manbun/pompadour/mullet/all of the above
If your barber can't get an idea with some loose guidance like that then try a different barber because that one's probably shit or won't commit to being confident in his trade aka shit. Imagine you went to a carpenter to make you a table, he asks you what you want and you said "I dunno, nothing too fancy" and after a little back and forth he was unwilling to make it because he couldn't figure out what "nothing too fancy", plus whatever else he got from the back and forth, meant. You'd just go to a different carpenter. That one's trash. How can you be con

Death to yankees edition

An example of the South's penchant for dressing in their Sunday best was a complete lack of dress uniform. This was not because of a lack of want for dress, but rather because the commissioned officers elected rather to always dress in their best. This served multiple purposes, as it made officers and their ranks easier to spot while combining this with style.

The Austrian knots on their sleeves correspond with their ranks in an aesthetically pleasing and elegant way, and the colors of the uniform's trim told of their branch (Artillery, Infantry, Cavalry, Militia being red, blue, yellow, and black, respectively).

The sole differences for proper dress scenario are minor, such as the wearing of white gloves (this was also worn during sentry duty among others), as the officers preferred to look as daring on the battlefield as they do in ball and parade.

Did you know that polyester is shit for your health and yet is in a shit ton of clothes?
https://archive.is/0hr4z
https://archive.is/XKjNz
Especially if you wear underwear made with it, since it can fuck up your fertility?
The only problem with getting off of polyester blends is that the shit's everywhere.
So, I'm hoping to let this be a thread of sources that you can find fashionable clothes without the bullshit inside of them, alongside other health-related shit.
From what I can recall so far, there's the following, though I'd still check and see if they changed anything up:
>J Crew
>Brooks Brothers
>Jewmazon Essentials (you'll especially have to check each product, but at least they're brutally honest about some clothes being 100% cotton and some being 100% polyester. that being said, obviously don't rely on amazon unless you're desperate)
Any more would be appreciated.

ive never heard of the fertility thing but polyester underwear and synthetics in general are extremely unhygenic, especially for americans who dont use bidets and have filthy fucking asses
ive had people talk to me about getting pimples on their butts which is pretty much just because of bacteria im pretty sure, i was very surprised because i wear mostly silk underwear and have never had this issue
also for anons that like wool also be warned that a lot of wool nowadays has silicone finishes applied to it for softness and durability reasons
but anyway do you /fa/gs have any underwear material recommendations?

I'm rockin cotton and it's fine for me.

it's pretty easy to find fashionable stuff if you're looking for cotton, it gets really hard if you want something made of wool because like >>324 said people like to finish it nowadays because modern merino wool and stuff is quite thin and not as durable as wool of the past because of that
for other stuff it's just harder because it's less common

All I wear is poly as I have no dryer and cotton would chafe. My socks are cotton though.
