The old Key VN adaptions like Clannad were pretty good, but an anime will almost always be inferior to a VN since the mediums have their own strengths.

I agree only when talking about anime that are vn adaptations since I like plenty of anime that would lose their charm if they were to receive a vn adaptation. It works both ways.

nips theories that he copied most of Muramasa from Dies Irae which is why in the first place he used a pen name. and btw the main plot of the VN particularly the Rokuhara shogunate, is taken from Taira clan tyranny over Japan, but the names switched to Ashikaga for some reason.
