I don't think I'll ever find a better girl than her in a visual novel or even anime...

I don't blame you and it's definitely not worth reading the sequels if you don't like the nonsensical harem and sci-fi shit that's shoved in

I should see what retarded girl ending looks like at least, I liked her the best.

Her and Amane's route were the ones I liked the least the writing of Michiru's route is very inconsistent and the sequels retcon it and make her into a less interesting character and just a plain dumbass with just mental issues
>>92
Every route in Grisaia is pretty terrible. At least in Sacchi's they blow up the school even though it makes no sense.

To be honest you are right to a degree at least it was interesting and the jokes land pretty consistently it might make no sense but it was to prove a point sachi is in such a state she forgot how to be really human and is fearful of losing everyone she has
The writing is really hit and miss depending on the route but it wasn't taking itself that seriously to begin with. I wish more visual novels had characters like grisaia because they feel oddly human despite being fucked up anime characters with issues.

>I wish more visual novels had characters like grisaia because they feel oddly human despite being fucked up anime characters with issues
Ehh I kind of agree but IMO the only likeable characters are Yuuji, Sacchi, Mitcher and of course best girl Makina. Every route just devolves into some kind of nonsensical melodrama and ruins the characters from the common route. Makina turns into a little sensitive baby outside of her H-scenes, Mitcher turns into a fucking nutcase midway through her route, not to mention how absolutely horrendous Amane's is considering it's 80% flashback. I genuinely like the common route though, even though other people seem to hate it.

The sequels are absolutely horrendous though.

Can't disagree on that. I mainly played them for more funny moments only to be blasted with lore dumps and a retarded terrorist story and pretty much removing most of the main appeal from the first game.

what a cute dork, that's just called "waiting"

I know this is true but wouldn't it require so much energy that it's practically impossible?
Replies: >>331 >>332

Someone probably has done the math for it I wouldn't know it but it'd probably be such a insane amount of energy that it would shut down entire parts of the world.
stein's gate is so dumb and nonsensical I still don't get why it was popular in the first place then again I never actually read the visual novel

I forgot what she said, but the energy needed to get a mass near light-speed get exponentially higher toward the infinite and if you go over the speed of light you end up with weird stuff like tachyons where stuff can happen before they happen which is either the past or the future depending on the observer.
I think she was referencing to time dilatation. If you are closer to the light of speed, you will experience time differently than someone that is at a much lower speed. Basically an hour for you could be a year for him. Gunbuster make use of this.

Is there a lot of VN and anime where they are completely different? Galaxy Angel come to mind; the anime was basically a shitpostey Dirty Pair but the VN was a generic space opera with a male MC and romance. Also Forte best girl.

>spoiler
I agree to some degree, it's definitively overrated by anime secondaries but it's still a good VN. I couldn't be fucked to finished the sequel.

What a moronic trannylation.
Replies: >>336
Would you say Muv Luv is the most bloated VN ever?

The alternative is reading mangas and visual novels in raw moon runes for who knows how long until you just see the letters and know exactly what they're saying. I would gladly do it but I'd rather read english even if there are poor translations first then compare once I can understand anything.

it's literally just repeating text and listening to what's being said otherwise you're looking at Textractor just for some help. Because if you didn't you would be lost for ages on something that could had been easy if you didn't live across the world from any Japanese people who would actually know their language.
