There would need to be some adjustments when it comes to their fights most notably the final fist fight but the series had some interesting abilities, maybe a bigger focus on genjutsu, curse mark on Sasuke’s side? Either way it would be a big improvement and lets not forget that Sakura would finally be a background character instead of forcing her into the big boy pool

I might be coping, but the manga came out in 2022, same year as that lesbian gundam, which was a blatant propaganda for gay marriage. This makes me believe the author was kinda “talked” into shoving this unnecessary stuff in the first chapter and not addressing it much again. It also was the year of Osaka and Tokyo ruling on the legality of dame-sex marriage.
Of course the femboy thing is inherently Japanese so a different matter.
It seems whenever japs are forced into promoting homosexuality, they choose yuri because you know men like lesbian porn.

Gintama, I have more experience in watching rather than reading the big shonens but Gintama was good on its own. Other than that, depend on your taste since most of them feel similar. I think the newer ones are better because they learned from previous ones, so go for Black Clover over Naruto for exemple.

Was watching Gintama and having fun, until this scene happened where the translator changed (probably intentionally), the line where Shinpachi says "lolicon yakuza" to "demented yakuza". Even old fansubs were censored wtf. I can let it slide, but is the rest also badly translated? is there a point to keep watching? anyway probably every translated anime/manga is garbage so whatever.

I feel like I'm stating the obvious here with this, but...
- Demons are all about POWER.
- They do not understand the concept of humility.
- Frieren exploits this by hiding her power level.
- Eisen unintentionally exploited this by being afraid during combat. Demons took this as evidence that Eisen was weak, when he really just misjudged his own power.
- Stark took the stories of Eisen and what he saw of how Frieren work, and applied it in a martial arts context: feinting/playing dead/pretending to be mortally hit is as anathema and incomprehensible to a demon as a mage hiding her power level.

I feel half of the demonnigger indentity is being psychopaths. Their brains are wired in a way that don't feel most emotions and especially lack empathy. Most of them are dandere-like, they are rare ones that shows any emotions but most of them show cracks when they are being humiliated by losing, however all of them lack any empathy towards anyone else even other demons. It's not like they see humans as cattle meant to be food since they acknowledge that humanity has a society and can be dangerous.  They just don't care about feeling anything toward anyone else but themselves. They understand emotions since they use pity against humans but maybe that's just them understanding that it work instead of understanding the concept of pity itself. They are naturally individualist and rarely work with each others, still they don't kill each others like they do with humans however I wouldn't be surprised if they would do that if there was no humans left to hunt.

The other half is that they are also too cocky on top of underestimating humans. So I agree with that POWER thing but not by itself. They focus on one type of magic and spend their whole life perfecting it ignoring versatibility and ignoring the fact humans are catching up. The anime/manga goes out of their way to explain different races have different mindset like Elves seeing time differently and not having the same growth potential/adaptility of humans(human human not humanity aka non-demonniggers). The mindset of the demons is to see everyone else as beneath them and not worth their time to take seriously beyond being food to hunted. Another point that show demons as being pretentious cocky fucker is their obsession with perfecting their art: in a recent'ish episode of the anime it's told they keep stealing the same sword because of the reputation it has. 
I agree for most demons that pretending to be weaker is impossible. They will only be weaker than they are by not taking things seriously from the start. However they often use deceit especially the younger ones. I don't truly know the reason why, probably a mix of underestimating humans and being too prideful to even consider it even inside their head. It was also shown in a recent ep of the anime that demonniggers even being interested in understanding humans(I'd say in a scientific way, not as friendship kind of understanding) is seen as being some weirdo amongst the demonniggers. This might be both because they specialise in their autism and understanding humans fall outside of that and also 'why understand those faggots, they will die easily anyway' mentality might be at play.

tl;dr hyper-individualistic self-centered psychopaths who are autistic and pridefull about their craft

Also, this anime is a really weird bait and switch. Like I was watching the first three episodes thinking, "Oh cool, another Iyashikei YKK/Mushishi/Aria to enjoy," and then it goes all fucking DBZ now. It feels weird that I'm cool with that. Like if it were the other way around, I think I'd feel gipped.

It's absolutely hilarious to me how politics are revealed to be hardwired worldviews through interpretations of entirely non-political works of fiction.

I think it's in human nature to have empathy and try to rationalise. So when confronted with 'evil', some people confort themselves by dehumanizing the people comiting it but others try to humanization and give them a motive, a justification. The truth is that sometime they are sadists and narcissists that are otherwise normal humans like anyone else.
The demonniggers aren't humans, they got their own mindset and so far in the anime(I have some early volume of the manga but I'm up to date only with the anime) they have been showned to be incompatible with humanity. They are barely able to work together too. However there was a demon girl that seemed interested in humans but still felt nothing about killing them, it was also revealed there is another 'eccentric' demon who is also interested in humans; perhaps there are some very very rare exceptions but I feel it would be like a scientist who is curious and doesn't care about hurting his subjects rather than someone trying to co-exist with humans out of fascination.
The story also goes out of its way to show that some humans still show pity toward young demons pretending to be helpless crying kids despite it being almost common knowledge that it's all fake. I feel the moral is more about empathy being humanity's greatest strenght since it allow them to work together and have a working society rather than a couple of faggot who sometime band together to do something once in a while, but that this strenght has a limit and will backfire if not paired with caution. 

Also I feel I heard something about the 'uncanny valley' feeling being associated with some ancestral predator of homo sapiens who looked similar to us but that's just a theory, but the demons here would fit that perfectly. If the demons evolved to be ugly bastards instead of looking, I doubt humans would pity them even if they cried and pretended to be some poor kid. Same reason why you see people simp for objectively bad people/characters just because they are cute or hot.

Frieren is an old hag, she learned a long time ago what demons truly are so they should never trusted. The other characters are mostly 'young' humans who don't have a thousand years of demonnigger fatigue to know the extent of their perfidiousness. It's in the nature of a human to show empathy to their own and thus by extent to human-looking demons. Most of them probably never saw demons before so they never knew, but it has been shown that not all humans get tricked because they been taught properly about demons. Some learn the hard way and might not fully accept the fact demons are that way because they anthropomorphize the demons believing that not all demons are the same, which while technically true, is not the case for the point of human-demon relations.

I feel the true moral in this is not the danger of over-empathizing but rather of excess anthropomorphism. Because without the latter, people wouldn't apply empathy to animals and other non-humans to the same degree. As an exemple of my point take a horse that broke its legs during a race: sure the horse is in pain because it broke its leg, but it's not sad that he lost the race. 
Too much empathy on non-humans get you stuff like anti-natalists vegans who prefer animals to humans aka mental illness and in a way a 'betrayal' of your own species. All for the sake of pitying something that doesn't have the feeling that are projected on it. Even with non-suicidal levels of empathy because you humanize something that isn't human.
It's also worth nothing that having empathy doesn't mean acting on it. I can understand and maybe sympathize for someone, but I won't go out of my way to help everyone. The demons mostly use empathy not to get people to help them but to stop them from killing them by pity. There is a bit of a nuance there,like you can pity some homeless dude trying to rob you for his money but that doesn't mean you will give him money however maybe you will pity his fate enough to not shoot him dead which might touch that borderline suicidal-empathy territory. It's similar to the trolley problem, bad choices are easier when they are done with inactivity.
If everyone in Frieren's world were drilled in their head that demons are 100% not humans and don't behave like humans and only look like humans to hunt humans better, it would fix the issue even without having to compromise empathy. I bet there are retards out there who will find a bear cute and forget that it could kill them out of nowhere because of some esoteric bear reason, so if demons were a thing irl it would be the same.
